In February this year we had a number of incidents in Calle Torralba where men were approached by women, some very young offering sex. This was aploy to put their arms around the victim and rob him of wallets, rings,watches and other precious items. The women were accompanied by men driving a car around the nearby streets. Please see photos above of vehicles use and a photo of one of the girls in the shop Open all Hours with the ship assistant in the foreground. Yesterday, (4.5,15) a male pensioner was walking down the same street when he was approached by a woman who grabbed his wrist watch and tried to wrench it from his wrist, In doing so she caused an injury to the wrist which needed stiches. She did not steal the watch but made off in a light coloured car being driven by a man. It is thought that this assault was made by the same gang which operated in the same street in February. Be warned against their activities and if the cars used are seen contact the Police immediately by ringing 112. YESTERDAY THEY OPERATED IN LA ZENIA – TOMORROW THEY COULD WELL VISIT YOUR AREA PICTURES OF THE CARS SHOWING NUMBERS ARE NOT TO BE POSTED ON NOTICE BOARDS OR SOCIAL MEDIA.
